Sophia Borelli, LMSW
Staff Therapist
I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, career burnout, self-esteem concerns, identity exploration, and relationship or attachment-related difficulties. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in familiar patterns, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward in a way that feels authentic and emotionally sustainable.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and emotionally attuned. I help clients better understand the emotional experiences, internal narratives, and relationship patterns that shape how they feel, relate, and move through the world. Through this work, clients can develop greater insight, build a more compassionate relationship with themselves, and create more fulfilling connections with others.
I integrate relational psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care. My style is both thoughtful and practical, combining deeper exploration with tools that support meaningful change in everyday life. I tailor treatment to each client’s needs, values, and goals.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and have worked in both private and public clinical settings. My experience includes working with clients across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, identities, and presenting concerns, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. If you are interested in starting therapy with me, I would be happy to offer a free 10-minute phone consultation.
