Sasha McArthur-Kewene, LMSW
Staff Therapist
As a therapist, I am passionate about helping clients navigate life's challenges and engage in meaningful personal growth. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and collaboration. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore their experiences with honesty and self-compassion.
I help clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship dynamics, trauma (including family and religious), perfectionism, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and identity concerns (including those involving faith crises).
My clinical work is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based modalities, and psychodynamic approaches. I tailor my work to meet each client’s individual needs, with the goal of fostering insight, resilience, and sustainable change. I aim to help clients build healthy relationships, develop effective communication tools, and create strategies for healing, so they can move through life with greater confidence and authenticity.
