My approach to therapy is collaborative, empathetic, and warm. I take a flexible approach, meeting my clients where they are on their personal journey in order to help them get to where they want to be. I always personalize and tailor treatment for each client according to their individual needs and wants.
I help clients with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depressed mood, trauma, and relationship difficulties of all kinds. I work from an integrative model, drawing from various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and acceptance-commitment therapy. I prioritize creating a safe therapeutic environment in which we can collaborate to determine and engage in the best therapeutic process for you. I have experience working with individuals of diverse backgrounds, in a variety of settings.
I’ve worked in a variety of private and public settings in New York City including major medical centers such as Kings County Hospital and NYC Health and Hospitals South Brooklyn. I received my Doctorate of Psychology from Long Island University, Post Campus. I also received an MA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and an MS in Applied Psychology from Long Island University Post Campus.
