My approach to therapy begins with developing  a compassionate, collaborative relationship that is free of judgment and based on empathy and respect. I strive to help my clients feel safe and comfortable as we work together to explore and understand their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I work with clients to overcome many types of difficulties including anxiety, depression, career and academic stressors, and difficulties with perfectionism. I take care to consider the many aspects of my client’s lives, including their emotional and physical wellbeing, the relationship with self and others, and the cultural experiences that shape and influence their experiences. My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), relational psychotherapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and person-centered  strength-based approaches.

I received my MA in Mental Health Counseling from New York University and have provided therapeutic services in counseling centers and private practice settings.
